Peas are a cool season crop that are high in fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidents.

English Garden peas are often eaten raw, steamed, sauteed, boiled, flavored with salt and pepper, butter, and herbs as a side dish vegetable.

Snow Peas are eaten whole provide vitamins A and C, iron and potassium .

Sugar Peas are round as opposed to flat and as well can be eaten whole.

To freeze peas, blanch in water for 1 1/2 minutes then immerse in cool water to prevent over cooking.
